Professional Insurance Services is open from 9 am to 5 pm Mon – Friday. We are also available evenings and Saturdays by appointment and available 24 hours a day via the internet.

Where is your office located?

We are located at 3836 W. Humphrey St., Tampa, FL 33614.

After I submit my information for a quote, how long will it take before an agent will contact me?

If you submit a quote during normal business hours than you may be contacted within a couple of hours. Otherwise an agent will contact you the next business day.

Do you write Business Insurance?

Yes, at Professional Insurance Services we write all lines of business insurance. We can handle any of your general liability, property, workers comp or commercial auto needs.

What does Homeowners Insurance cover?

Homeowners Insurance provides personal liability and protection for your home and personal property such as furniture, clothing, and appliances as well as personal liability. It protects you from a variety of events such as fire, explosions, lightening, vandalism, burglary, storms, and more. Be sure to call your insurance agent to discuss actual insurance coverage included with your homeowner’s insurance plan.

Are natural disasters covered under homeowner’s insurance?

Most natural disasters are covered, however damages caused by floods and earthquakes are excluded. Additional coverage is needed for floods or earthquakes.

What is the right amount of insurance for my home?

Your coverage should be equal to the value of your home. Homeowners insurance covers only the structure and not the land the home sits on. That means the insurance may be less than the purchase price or loan amount.

Do you sell flood insurance?

Yes, we can write a standard flood insurance policy, and can even provide excess flood insurance.

If I rent an apartment, is it required to have renters insurance?

That is up to the apartment whether or not it is required so you may want to check with your leasing office. However, we highly recommend that you have a renter’s policy to cover your personal property in case of theft or fire.

Can you provide me auto insurance if I have had my policy lapse or cancel?

Yes, we can write auto insurance for customers who have no previous insurance or are purchasing a car for the first time.

If I want to set up a life appointment, are agents available to come to my home for a consultation?

We are happy to set up home appointments with a life or financial services representative if that is more convenient for you. Our agency can assist you with Term Life, Whole Life, Universal Life, and Disability Insurance needs.

Does it cost any money to have an agent evaluate my existing insurance policies?

No, at Professional Insurance Services we offer a free consultation and will be happy to meet with you in person, over the phone or online to discuss your existing insurance needs.
